Product Release Notes — AIMSS Platform

Release Date: July 2026 Platforms Affected: AIMSS Guarding Suite, AIMSS Vehicle & Evidence, AIMSS Data & Communications Status: General Availability

Overview

This release introduces significant improvements across all three platforms. The changes are grouped by platform to help operations teams understand what updates affect their specific workflows. No platform downtime was required for any of these updates — all deployments are cloud-first and rolling.

Platform 1 — AIMSS Guarding Suite

Products affected: eGuard, eGuard-K9, ePatrol, ePatrol-Pro, eSmartPatrol, ePatrol-Mobile

New Features

  • Live Patrol Optimisation — Patrol route assignments now load 40% faster on the mobile app, reducing initial sync time from an average of 8 seconds to under 5 seconds on standard 4G connections.
  • Incident Photo Watermarking — All photos captured through ePatrol Mobile are now automatically watermarked with GPS coordinates, timestamp, and the capturing officer's ID. This is enabled by default and cannot be disabled, ensuring chain-of-custody integrity.

Improvements

  • Offline Sync Reliability — Resolved an intermittent issue where patrol check-ins captured in low-signal areas would occasionally duplicate after sync. The deduplication logic now uses a composite key of patrol ID, checkpoint ID, and timestamp.
  • K9 Canine Tracking — We are working on indoor tracking beacons as an upgrade to the AIMSS platform with eGuard, eGuard-K9, and eTrac-IS devices.

Known Issues

  • Guard roster photos uploaded via the web browser on Safari 17 may occasionally fail to render in the roster preview. A page refresh resolves the display. Investigation is ongoing.

Platform 2 — AIMSS Vehicle & Evidence

Products affected: RapidTrac, RapidCam, eVision

New Features

  • Vehicle Geofence Alerts via WhatsApp — RapidTrac can now send automated geofence entry and exit alerts to designated WhatsApp numbers in addition to SMS and email. Configuration is available under Site Settings → Notification Channels.

Improvements

  • Vehicle Speed Reporting — The fleet dashboard now includes a configurable speed threshold alert. Sites can set per-vehicle speed limits and receive real-time notifications when exceeded.
  • Footage Retention Policy Manager — Admins can now define retention policies per site or per camera type (e.g., bodycam vs. dashcam), with automated purge schedules that generate a compliance report before deletion.
  • Live Map Performance — The live tracking map now uses vector tiles for up to 500 simultaneous vehicles, reducing browser memory consumption by approximately 35%.

Platform 3 — AIMSS Data & Communications

Products affected: Data-Armour, RADR, eTrac, eTrac-IS, RFID-Asset-Management, e-100, e-200

New Features

  • Ransomware-Resistant Backup Versioning — Data-Armour now maintains immutable backup snapshots with 30-day point-in-time recovery for all protected data stores. Snapshots are isolated from the primary storage to ensure ransomware encryption of live data cannot propagate to backups.
  • eTrac-IS Lone Worker Panic Timer — The lone worker safety module now supports configurable panic timers with automatic escalation: a missed check-in triggers a notification to the supervisor after the first interval, and to a secondary contact (or control room) after a second interval if unacknowledged.
  • RFID Asset Geofencing — RFID-tagged assets can now be assigned to site geofences. Movement of an asset outside its assigned geofence generates an alert with the asset ID, timestamp, and last-read location.

Improvements

  • Data Recovery Speed — RADR's recovery engine now supports parallel disk reconstruction, reducing recovery times for large datasets by up to 45% compared to the previous release.
  • e-100 and e-200 Fleet Analytics — Driver behaviour scoring now includes a new "idle time" metric alongside existing speed, acceleration, and route compliance data. The composite score is weighted per site configuration.

Note: No data is automatically synchronised between platforms. All cross-platform features retrieve data in real-time via read-only API queries. If one platform is unavailable, the other two continue to operate independently.

Upgrade Information

No action is required from site administrators. All updates are applied automatically as cloud deployments. Site administrators will receive an in-platform notification summarising the changes applicable to their subscribed products.

If you encounter any unexpected behaviour after this release, please contact support with a description of the issue, the platform name, and the approximate time of occurrence.
